Hello!
As you know, we go on working on the project about San Roque and, this time I am going to tell you something about its population.
Nowadays, there are 30,000 citizens, more or less, in San Roque. Approximately, 4,000 people are not Spanish, above all British, due to the influence of Gibraltar. The residents are distributed in the different districts or areas.
The
‘Casco’ is the area with more people, 10800, the 40% of the inhabitants more or
less. It is followed by the Valley of Guadiaro, with 8700 residents; the inland
area with a population of 6200; and the bay where 4300 people live.
In this graphic, you can see the demography's evolution from 1900 to 2010.
