PARIS

     Good afternoon!

    Nowadays there are many  problems with the murders and crimes in big cities, like London or Paris. Everyday we watch the images of the police, the army and so on.

    Today I have read in the newspaper something about a soldier in Paris and I have seen many pictures about some members of the army in the underground.

    However, this is always in this way, not only when there are dangerous situations. When we travelled to Paris with our high school, we used to take the underground to move. In some stations, like 'Gare de Lyon', there were a lot of soldiers watching the area. 

    In fact a partner's wallet was stolen and we called the soldiers. They quickly began to run and they called the police control. They paid attention to us and finally one of our teachers recovered the purse. It was amazing!

BYE BYE AREA!

    Hello!

    As everybody knows, we are working on a magazine, which is a very famous type of press nowadays. There are a lot of types of magazines and many of them are very successful. More or less, it ocurred the same with the newspapers. Futhermore, the success has increased due to the new technologies difussion.

    However, the local press is crossing a bad time because of the economic situation. It is the point where I want to arrive. Some days ago, a newspaper of this district, 'Campo de Gibraltar', called 'Area' dissapeared. There is not enough money to publish it and, mainly, it was read by aged people. 'Area' is one of the medias which have been lost. Something similar happened to the magazine 'Alameda', from San Roque.

    Maybe, you can ask me: what do you want to tell us with these things? 

    The answer is easy. I just want to tell you we generally think press is increasing a lot, and there are new ones. On the other hand, the local medias, like radios, newspapers or magazines are disappearing quickly.

     'Area' forever!

Hi everybody!

   As you know, one of my articles at the magazine is about the visit of our Italian friends to Spain and I would like to tell you something about it, because it was very special for me. We spent an incredible week all together. We visited many places, they met our Spanish friends and our families, our high school... They try typical Spanish food, even they danced flamenco!

But this is only a small part. I´m sorry, I can´t tell you more!

    Hi again!

    This time we have a very interesting proyect and all the class is going to participate. We are going to do a magazine which includes everything that we can tell you about this year. In addiction, we are going to talk about the activities and travels that we have done and it includes  some interview to teachers and students.
 
    I´m going to write an article with two classmate more about the interchange with Milán, specifically about the visit of the Italian students to Spain. And with my group "A New World Of Possibilities" I´m going to do an interview to our philosophy´s teacher and the student´s opinion about the differences between ESO and Bach.

   I hope that you will like it at he end. I will give more information before plublishing the magazine.

A NEW PROJECT FOR THIS TERM

    

    Hi everybody!

   

    As you know, we have returned and this term, we are working in a project to create a magazine. All of us are going to write different articles, and I will be the person in charge to tell you something about Paris. I think I will do it with two partners of other groups, Lost and The Bunnies, who came also to the trip. 

    

    I suppose you are informed about the event which has been realized by our high school, called Cadalso in Concert II. It was last Friday and I participated in a technical group for the communication. On Monday, we made a press conference, so maybe, I will write an article on that.

    

    In addition, I am preparing a text about the differences between Secondary and Bachillerato, and I am going to opine about a new subject this year: Philosophy. I will do it with the members of A new world of possibilities.

    

    I am going to go on showing you the topics we are writing about, so in a short time I will give you photos and news about Paris.

   

NEW TERM, NEW PROJECT

    Hello everybody!

    Our Easter’s holidays have finished, so we have had to return the classes again. This term, in this subject, Proyecto Integrado, we are going to work in a magazine.

    All our partners are going to create a magazine to publish different activities, articles or news related to the school year. Its name will be ‘Science Freaks’. This title is due to a class group we have in the mobile phone chat.

    In relation to the articles, we have to say that they have been distributed depending on the groups and the people’s participation in the variety activities.

    For instance, we are going to write an article on the changes between  Secondary Obligatory Education and Bachillerato, with the ideas and the opinions of all the members of A new world of possibilities. Moreover, we are interviewing our philosophy teacher, because philosophy is something new for us, so we will tell you something about this subject.

CADALSO IN CONCERT

Hello everybody!

The second week after Easter, our high school is going to celebrate the second edition of "Cadalso in concert". Last year, IES Jose Cadalso drive this initiative for support the progress of students habilities about music, dance and other disciplines.

Last year edition was amazing. We discovered the habilities of a lot of schoolmates that we did not know. Last year's most striking performance for me was a performance of a boy who danced the salsa and I had never imagined how he danced.

I think that this year's edition will be better than last year's edition, because the students has trained much more than last year. I am sure that we will pass a good time there!
